Welcome to Nielsen Designs
We are a small family business in Pemaquid, Maine specializing in custom kitchens and baths. We also craft one of a kind pieces for the home using wood and stone. Our spiral turned lamp with stone base is one example of the diversity our shop has to offer.
Nielsen Designs started in the early 70's after I attended the Museum School in Boston for jewelry, silversmithing and woodworking. Returning home to the lakes region of NH, I started a business working in the crafts and later building fine homes on Squam Lake. In 2005 my family and I moved to Maine where we built our own home.
Our design solutions are ever changing, using the combined ideas and needs of each client, we can come up with a plan to make each project unique. We also welcome a plan that you may already have, either way, our pride in our work and a happy customer is our goal.
